Can I use anything besides salt in the Bug-A-Salt?
NO! Using other substances will cause problems with your Bug-A-Salt. Warranty is voided if other substances are used.
Is the Bug-A-Salt dangerous?
No, only if misused: Do not shoot anyone in face or eyes. Treat it with respect like any equipment. It will not penetrate skin or damage furniture.
What kind of salt does it use?
Ordinary table salt from your local super market.
Will the salt splatter the bug?
No, the bug will remain whole for easy clean up.
How much salt does the Bug-A-Salt shoot?
A pinch of salt.
How many blasts before i need to reload?
The blaster will hold about 70-80 blasts before reloading.

Can you provide parts so i can repair my blaster?
Due to supply chain issues, we want to make sure our customers are aware BUG-A-SALT cannot offer replacement parts for the blasters. On our end, please note BUG-A-SALT is aware there are videos on YOUTUBE showing folks how to repair our blasters. Sorry to report, BUG-A-SALT is not affiliated with the folks creating repair videos, and we absolutely cannot supply parts right now (as the video might suggest).
What if my Bug-A-Salt breaks?
If the trouble shooting doesn’t help, you’re in luck! Lorenzo stands by our product and we take our 1-year warranty policy against factory defects seriously.
If you are past 1-year. On a case by case basis, we do our best to take care of any issues our customers are having.
Please do not disassemble your BUG-A-SALT or do something stupid like put sand in it, as this will void our warranty policy.

Dear bug a salt. Just received my new fly-fuvker-upper 3000 with lazer target acquisition. Delighted is not the word. Very impressed with the build quality and weight. It’s good to know in a pinch that if I ran out of ammo I could still beat an insect to death. Unfortunately it has inspired some Vietnam flashbacks and I had to increase lethality by attaching bayonet. Please have your R and D department contact me for schematics and technical specifications.

Works very well. Definitely less flies around in my house. Works well even when they are flying about. The lazer was worth it. They stand no chance is they land.

I've always been tempted by one of these but been sceptical of "social media" driven devices claiming they can cure the worlds food shortage or stop global warming. So when I saw this device originally I was both excited and sceptical at the same time! That was v1 of the device, didn't even see any adverts for v2, but when v3 appeared and used good old fashioned table salt I took the bait!
I spent my birthday money from my mother-in-law on the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 combo (includes the laser) and spent around £60 as they were on offer. I could not wait for it to arrive!
When it arrived I was blown away by the quality of the packaging and the device, it may look like a toy but its built like a brick XXXX house! The info you get with it is both well present with some humour and I love the slogan on the laser "If it's red, it's dead".
Typical man I dived straight in without reading any instructions so when attempting to shoot it for the first time not only had I not put the pump action to the front, but the safety was still on (this is shown in my first multikill on the video).
I waited with anticipation for the pesky blighters to enter my kitchen, typical that now I can have some fun no flies are entering... so I took my dogs finished dinner bowl outside the door and within seconds loads of horrible green bottle flies were on it. You will see in the video after my initial attempts to pull the trigger (safety on and pump in wrong spot) I absolutely blew them away!
